Phnom Rung lies firmly in Thailand just a short distance from the Cambodia Thai border in eastern Thailand’s province of Buriram. Fortunately it has stood through the many of the ravages of war, lawlessness and looting that many other Khmer temples did not fare so well. This is a very well preserevd temple and if you enjoy ancient temples then this is a must see.
